Coping with Loss:   A Coping with Loss 5 week Programme will begin on Wednesday 13th March in the Convent of Mercy, Ballymahon from 8.00p.m. to 9.00p.m.   Facilitator:  Sr. Mary Glennon from Bethany Bereavement Support.

Tractor Run for Day Care Centre:   A Tractor Run is to take place in Ballymahon on the 14thApril 2019 in aid of Ballymahon Day Care Centre.     The Centre has a lot of renovations to be carried out when it closes for its Summer break later in the year, although there is funding, this will not cover the full cost.  This is why the fundraiser is being held , to help with the shortfall.                                                                      Registration will take place at 11.00a.m. with tea and scones before departing at 12 noon.     Tickets are on sale at the Centre and a raffle will take place when everyone returns from the run.   Tea and refreshments will be available in the Centre after the Tractor Run.                                                                 Ballymahon Day Care Centre is a life line to so many people.   Clients come from all over County Longford and parishes from our neighbouring Co Westmeath .   The Centre is a vital place for our senior citizens to meet and socialize in a safe and caring environment.   The organisers appeal to everyone, please support this fundraiser.   For queries contact Darren at 086-170 4394.

Ballymahon Foroige Club: reached new heights on their mid-term break during their visit to Lough Key Forest Park.  Members visited the Boda Borg escape rooms where they completed a number of physical and mental challenges.  Afterwards they went zip lining which was enjoyed by all.
